Furthermore, we categorized the city into three main zones in this post: the Chipre Zone, the Downtown Zone, and the Bus Transportation Zone. We will additionally provide you an overview of Villamaria, a close town of Manizales.

MAP OF THE LODGING ZONE IN MANIZALES 🗺️

We'll be showing you the Manizales map now, where we'll mark several important spots that will be described in more depth later.

-> 1. CHIPRE ZONE

Since Chipre is a location where you can find places to hang out with friends and have fun with the family, it is well recognized for being one of the gathering places for Manizales residents.

Since the city is home to five nationally accredited universities, we could say that it is well-known for being an academic city.

Furthermore, it has been recognized as one of UNESCO's studying cities because it features high-level infrastructure for students along with alternatives such as bicycle stations and zone cards for their comfort.

-> 2. DOWNTOWN ZONE

It is well-known as Colombia's highest cathedral, placed on 22 streets in the capital city of Caldense and measures 2,300 square meters with an estimated capacity of 5,000.

The historical center of Manizales is located on the same 22 street as the old Manizales fire station, whose history dates back to the 1960s. This area of the city includes a wide range of restaurants as well as numerous religious businesses.

-> 3. BUS TRANSPORTATION ZONE

Situated in commune 9, the university commune, where the majority of commercial establishments can be found in the areas of Fátima, Aranjuez, and Malhabar (142, 96, and 76 respectively).

This region has a range of sporting amenities in addition to the housing and residential areas. Furthermore, the terminal provides access to the aerial wire that crosses an important section of the city.

This is Manizales' nearest municipality, about 15 minutes from the city. You can easily go to the city from Villamaria when traffic isn't as congested as downtown.

This municipality offes plenty of activities, including bird watching, religious excursions, and cable rides.

As we've already indicated, the Chipre zone is regarded as the city's rose zone, where you can make plans for both friends and family.

As the Chipre Tower offers a 360-degree perspective of the city, you might also go to the Conquerors Monument. If you enjoy both dining and coffee, this area of the city offers a lot of options for you to choose from.

Recommendation: You may be aware that this area is highly economic and active, which is why both locals and visitors may find a wide variety of goods here. Occasionally, though, it is discovered that this location is filthy and overflowing with trash.
